First of all, you need to be clear about your transportation needs. Consider factors such as the type, size, and weight of the goods being transported. Different goods have different requirements for the carrying capacity and structure of the trailer. If you often transport large mechanical equipment or extra-long and extra-heavy goods, you need to choose a low-bed semi-trailer with sufficient strength and appropriate size.
Carrying capacity is one of the important indicators for choosing a low-bed semi-trailer. The required carrying capacity should be determined based on the weight of the goods and the expected transportation frequency. Generally speaking, the carrying capacity of the trailer should be slightly higher than the actual weight of the goods being transported to ensure safety and stability during transportation. At the same time, pay attention to the number of axles and tires of the trailer, which will affect its carrying capacity.
There is a customer from Chad who told me his needs. He needs to transport 60-70 tons of heavy machinery, but at the same time he also needs to transport containers, so this demand is very obvious.
Our 3axles lowbed trailer can transport 60-70 tons without any problem. It can also transport containers. We will equip it with 12 container locks, so that it can transport 2 20-foot containers and 1 40-foot container. However, the customer still wants to widen the trailer, 0.25m on one side and 0.5m on both sides, in order to meet the needs of transporting wider goods. So we widened it for the customer and it can be adjusted freely. Before adjustment, it has a small side wall to prevent the goods from falling when transporting goods. Then, in order to ensure the quality of transportation, we also designed pads for this widened object, with 10 pads on one side and 20 pads on both sides, which can be adjusted freely, which also ensures the quality of transportation.
Finally, the drawings were sent to the customer for confirmation. The customer was very satisfied with the design of the trailer and finally confirmed the purchase quantity, two blue ones and two yellow ones, and then paid the production deposit.
