Because it is necessary to maintain the goods in a suitable temperature environment during transportation, the refrigeration equipment will increase the load of the vehicle, so the engine horsepower should be appropriately increased. Generally, an engine with 120 – 140 horsepower is selected to ensure that the vehicle can run normally when fully loaded with refrigeration equipment and goods.
Large Equipment Parts and Industrial Products
When transporting large equipment parts such as machine tool parts and large molds, the goods are usually irregular in shape and heavy. The length of the cargo compartment may need to be 5.8 – 7.2 meters to adapt to the size of the goods. At the same time, such goods have higher requirements for the load-bearing capacity of the vehicle, and the engine horsepower should be large enough. Generally, it is between 130 – 160 horsepower to ensure that the vehicle has good dynamic performance during transportation, especially during starting and acceleration.
